Michael I. Beiley, Ph.D., received his Ph.D. in Child Clinical Psychology with a child and family speciality from California School of Professional Psychology in 1981.  He obtained his Psychology license in the State of California (PSY7928) in 1983. After working as the Consulting Psychologist for 5 years for an Adolescent Residential Treatment Program for the Santa Barbara Mental Health,  Dr. Beiley opened a general clinical practice of Psychology in the evaluation and treatment of children, adolescents and adults in Santa Barbara in 1983.   In 1990 Dr. Beiley founded and directed the Anxiety and Panic Disorders Clinic of Santa Barbara.  Since that time, Dr. Beiley has restricted his clinical practice to the evaluation and treatment of Anxiety Disorders with a sub-speciality in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and OC Spectrum Disorders. He has been a Professional member of the Anxiety Disorders Association of America, the Obsessive-Compulsive Foundation, and the Santa Barbara County Psychological Association since 1990.   He has been an Adjunct Faculty at the University of California Extention, Santa Barbara teaching courses in Anxiety Disorders, Anxiety Disorders in Children and Attention Deficit Disorder.
      Additionally, since 1983 Dr. Beiley has specialized in the civil and criminal evaluation with an emphasis on personal injury evaluation, disability evaluation, workers's compensation, sexual harassment, wrongful termination and other traumatic stress evaluations.  Dr. Beiley has conducted over 600 forensic evaluations and been qualified as an expert witness in Santa Barbara, Ventura, San Luis Obispo, and Los Angeles counties, and has testified over 150 times.
